Plot Summary
Set in the distant future on a hostile alien planet, a group of ambitious young adults embark upon the prestigious Sol Invictus competition in a quest to win fame and glory. The rules of the game are simple but dire: each of Earth's finest Academies sends their best and brightest to a remote planet in a race against the rest. The first team to pinpoint, out of all the stars in the sky, which one is Earth's faraway sun -- Sol -- is the winner. But no one goes home until the games are won...

Customer Reviews
This movie is TERRIBLE.
I have never written a movie review before and doubt I will do so again unless something really forces me to, as is the case with this movie. I feel genuinely wronged by the deceptive and dishonest ratings on itunes for this movie. There is no possible way that honest reviewers could give this more than one, or perhaps two stars. The plot is full of holes, the characters are absurd, and the acting is absolutely abysmal. This movie almost made me to decide to stop watching movies again, ever. The fact that it is rated so high here by so many is a cheap con by the people who made this piece of garbage to redeem the money they wasted putting this together. It's one thing if a movie isn't good, it's another thing to write fake reviews about it to trick people into buying it. I want my money back. If you're thinking of getting this movie from itunes do yourself a favor and seek out some reviews from alternate sources before you waste your money.
Boring, stupid, useless movie
Bad script, bad acting, worse effects, no plot, no structure. Whoever gave this movie more than two stars should have their head examined for some sort of debilitating aneurism. A total ripoff of Heinlein's "Tunnel in the Sky". This movie did not have a single redeeming quality.
Boring and Poorly Executed
The movie started with an interesting premise. However, the acting was poor and dialogue felt unnatural. Additionally, there were portions of the plot that just weren't believable. The end result was a story in which I didn't really care what happened to the main characters.
