Plot Summary
Join 4,000 participants as they re-enact D-Day, the notorious 6th of June invasion of Normandy. Instead of bullets, it's paintball; instead of the French coast, it's Oklahoma. And, every year, it's any man's game, which means the Germans could win! Staged on a 700-acre battlefield owned by the grand-son of a veteran of Omaha Beach, this yearly battle of paint is fought as a tribute to all veterans. These paintball soldiers take "gung ho" to an all-time high, utilizing real tanks and airplanes for this epic fight!

Great fun from beginning to end
I'm a female and I really don't have any interest in playing paintball, but I LOVED this film. Before watching it, I thought it had the potential to be cheesy since I'm not into paintball. I was totally wrong. It was fun and engaging throughout the entire film. This isn't your normal re-enactment and this isn't your normal paintball war (from what I gather). The passion the people have for the sport and this annual event is intense. The documentary did a great job of telling the characters stories and made you want more. You can't help but fall in love with the people and root for them - even the Germans. I found it amazing how this event brings so many people together from all over the country and the world. It is funny, fast-paced, suspenseful, touching, and all around fun to watch.
this is my second home
so ive actually been to this event for the past four years and this coming one will be my fifth. ive watched them film this documentary for a long time and even there showing some of it at the field durring the events. i want you to know this documentary is long and not just about people playing paintball but the people who lives are apart of this from building tanks to building bridges to building families. i wish i was some where in this film but i aint :( my best friend is the one of the few girls you see but this is a must watch and buy for any one!!!!
fun, entertaining film !
I'm not into paintball, nor am I a war buff, so wasn't sure what to expect with this doc. But this film is well done, with real characters, killer action sequences, excellent music, and I had a great time watching it. The build up is good. And the Battle sequences were awesome. During some of the battle sequences we were raising our fists in the air. And I found myself caring what was going to happen Juan and son, Dewayne, Psycho, and Bondchick. Nice portrait of an interesting subculture.
