Plot Summary
"Sole Journey" shows how dedicated and courageous individuals, following in the footsteps of Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr., use non-violent resistance and acts of civil disobedience to confront anti-gay rhetoric as well as religious and political oppression. "Sole Journey" exposes James Dobson's Focus on the Family, a well-funded, politically powerful organization that assaults the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. Interweaving stories of courage and commitment and interviews with movement leaders such as Mel White of Soulforce, Judy Shepard of the Matthew Shepard Foundation and actor and activist Chad Allen, "Sole Journey" shows how a small group of individuals take action against a colossal adversary - including a six-day, 65 mile march from the Colorado State Capitol in Denver to the Focus on the Family's headquarters in Colorado Springs.

Soul Deception
This movie is a deception on the beliefs of Dr. Martin Luther King and a bigoted view of people with a different opinion. The colossal adversary in the movie is not any individual but rather the laws of God. 2 peaceful thumbs down on this one.
Inspiring!
To the people who gave this movie a negative review- please educate yourselves on biblical literalism! Focus on the Family and James Dobson are a dangerous, deceitful and bigoted group, who have spread lies and hate for too many years and groups like SoulForce are helping to expose them for what they really are. Stop listening to Dobson, Robertson, Swaggart and the rest of the hate mongers and listen to some intelligent and educated theologians like Laurence Keene, Gene Robinson, Mel White, Peter Gomes and Jimmy Creech.
sole deception
The primary purposes of this film are to defame those (Focus on the Family) who interpret the laws of God literally and to attempt to rationalize the Bible's clear message on sexuality. To elevate these people (the "small group of individuals") to the status of Dr. King, a true man of God is to embark upon a journey that is not courageous, but rather, a futile exercise in perversion and deception.!
