Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: While there's much to admire in how Mr. Tucci and Ms. Eve perform Mr. LaBute's artful, apocalyptic duet, this is one seriously out-of-date tune.
Rotten: I came away from this malevolent exercise with the sense that these two add up to little more than the sum of their awfulness.
Fresh: With Some Velvet Morning, LaBute returns to the provocative style that made his name.
Fresh: Though LaBute wrote this for the screen, I mistakenly decided that it must have originated onstage... because the oblique, heavily freighted dialogue seems too elegant and artful for a medium dominated by hacks.

Some Velvet Morning
One of the smartest films I have seen in a long time!!!!!
Worth it
I think this is certainly worth a watch. It is thought provoking, and at times abrasive and uncomfortable. In this age of cell phones and screens I think we all have a lack of focus, but this film made me focus completely.
Terrific
Neil LaBute respects his audience and delivers a smart "afternoon" of corrosive revelations and genuine human need - and just when you think you're comfortable - take the ride.
