I stayed for the Chili
I watched this because it was Nicholas Megalis' dad and some of Nicholas' music is in it too. I liked some of the songs I heard. The movie : I am going to try to apply myself to do more reviews this year. Sonny Days - it was quirky odd but I had some really nutty unexpected laughs at some oddball things. If you like independent film humor this is definitely in your bag I'd say. Some very offbeat, witty references that I liked. For $1 more I bought it, so I will watch it again for sure. The Chuck dude singing in court about the bench had me rolling ( ROFLOL ) It has some slow spots for sure and the top scene with the board meeting I almost turned it off but I am very glad that I did not. Pretty good - pretty funny.
Y-Town GO TOWN!
I’m from Youngstown (now live in Boston) and I saw this movie at the Youngstown Film Festival. When I went to see it, I thought it was going to be a Mob movie, it totally IS NOT and that’s a good thing. It’s not what I expected but it’s hilarious in a bunch of places. I didn’t know who most of those actors were, but I did know the one guy Toby---from American Splendor movie, that NERD guy. That Mobmuseum thing was hilarious and stupid!! GO Y-TOWN!!
What am I a clown? Sweeet!
Great little quirky film. Napoleon Dynamite meets Joe Pesci. If your are in the mood for something different and want to laugh, watch this film!
