Rotten: Note to the writers: Just because a movie is a mystery doesn't mean everything in it has to be. – Carina Chocano, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: It's a wit-free homage to Hitchcock and M. Night Shyamalan that, for all its slick presentation, never comes close to hitting the mark of its forebears. – Ernest Hardy, L.A. Weekly, Jun 24, 2010

Worth it

I've seen this movie and it's underated..

:) SPiRAL

I saw the last 55 min of it on tv, and instantly fell in love with it. My favorite scene is when the girl is looking at the ducks and says, "look at those poor fat freezing birds. I did that...I made them fat!" lol XD! Great movie!

Weird Movie

I caught the last 40 minutes or so on the movie channel and I'd had to say that this is one of the those eccentric films that you're either going to "get" or not. I enjoyed the portrayal of the character's descent into madness, though I didn't get to see the beginning of the movie, so I'm sure I was missing some of the point, but I found the end to highly enjoyable besides. One thing that has been irking me, and if anyone could help me with this, I would be most appreciative... but where can I find a release of the original soundtrack? I very much enjoyed the piece that played as the end credits ran and the erractic nature of jazz helped to accentuate the unique nature of the film. All in all, not a total waste of time but also not the best movie ever.
