Plot Summary
Spring Forward chronicles the burgeoning friendship between a young ex-con, Paul (Liev Schreiber) and his new work partner, Murph (Ned Beatty), a veteran municipal employee facing retirement. This indie drama begins the day Paul is paroled from jail, for holding up a Dunkin' Donuts in a moment of financial desperation. He gets a fresh start with a Parks and Recreation job in a small New England town. Unfolding through seven real-time episodes set against the backdrop of the changing seasons and shot in sequence over the course of a year, Spring Forward explores the profound way each man changes the others perspective on life. From IFC Films, Spring Forward is playwright and character actor Tom Gilroy's directorial debut.

I loved this movie
ITs a great story.IM not much for writing reviews but i loved it.THe trailer dosnt really do it justice but its a great movie. The guy gets a second chance and makes small differences which in turn in the long run make a big difference. ITs a great feel good movie ABOUT TRUE FRIENDSHIP.
Outstanding
If your all into Hollywood movies this is not for you.If your into something off to the left a little watch this. Some good performances by both lead actors.Very very good.
Boring
This movie is so slow! It is false advertising. It should not be found in the movie section. There should be a separate section called conversations. That's where this should be located because that's what this "movie" is, a long and drawn out boring conversation between the same 2 people. Different characters are introduced but they are not important. It's just 2 people shooting the breeze with different backgrounds behind them. Lame!
