non stop laughing

lily and jesse are genius together! I couldn't stop laughing!

Only 2 out of 7 (perhaps 3) are really worth watching

Out of the seven shorts only 2 are worth watching: Friend Request Pending and Steve. I could add the Prodigal to the list - watch it and see that any feature-length movie of that sort could be cut down to 10 minutes (and probably should be). Prodigal, actually, is a great short movie exactly for that reason: it clearly demonstrates that a good plot, gripping dialogues, good acting, and a good variety of sceneries and shots could be fit into 10-15 minutes and tell you the whole story well enough.

The musical one (Not Your Time, if I remember correctly) is waaaaay long. Now, unlike Prodigal, it shows what a short movie is NOT supposed to be. I think the 10-minute version would have been way more interesting. This is especially clear in compilation with 8-9-minute long movies.

Sexting is interesting only in form: the actress was limited to a portrait-size black-and-white photo. The dynamic of the monologue is interesting, but the whole thing looks like an interesting (though not over-challenging) exercise in acting. And nothing else. Oh, no, wait. Good hair style, too.

Procession is a great example of having a gripping beginning and a good ending and not very much in between.

After-School Special: a waste of good acting.

Overall, too much cursing and talking about sex (except Friend Request Pending, Steve, and Prodigal). I really cannot agree to the idea that limits all of our life experience to cursing and sex. In this sense, the movies I listed as top three are way more balanced.
