Plot Summary
After India's (Wasikowska's) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.

Spectacular movie! Worth every penny
Park Chan-Wook is a creative beast!
The director of some of the greatest films to come of South Korea comes out swinging with his first American directorial debut. This film is equal parts beautifully shot, and insanely demented; it's an art-house film that is gorgeous regardless of the scene, and you just can't look away from such a visually stunning work. While the story being told might be somewhat confusing, by the end, you won't really care. It's all about the artistry here, folks. If paintings could move and tell a story, this film would be it.
