Sarah Polley's STORIES WE TELL is the work of a genuine master storyteller at the height of her powers. This is a crowing achievement in story structure, the nature of storytelling, and what cinema can still do when in the hands of someone with a vision and a story really worth telling. Just an astonishing achievement.
We need more movies like this
This movie isn't what I expected, but i was able to shift gears and enjoy it for what it is, an exploration of self as much as a search for truth.
refreshingly candid…..
This is a story worth watching not only for how well it is told and how brilliantly it is directed, but for the tenderness, love, acceptance and forgiveness that each family member shows
