Plot Summary
From Todd Solondz, the critically acclaimed director of "Welcome to the Dollhouse" comes a film comprised of two separate stories set against the sadly comical terrain of college and high school, past and present. Censored
Don't buy it has a scene that's censored with a big red box. Good movie though.
Terrible movie
I watched this movie because I love Belle and Sebastian's music. The movie was so stereotyped that I was shocked. The Hispanics, the Afroamerican and the Jews are represented like out of a 1933 Germany caricature. I felt bad for spending my time and money with this movie. In terms of format, it is also totally unbalanced: it devotes 10 minutes to "fiction" and then over an hour to "nonfiction". The myth of the writer and the passive student taking it just because… I didn't get it. Highly unrecommended!
