How far would you go to stay alive? The survivors of the well-known 1972 Andes plane crash recall what it took to live in the mountains for over 60 days with no food, water, or supplies. Fresh: Stranded: I've Come From a Plane That Crashed in the Mountains is an oxymoron: a docu constructed from re-enactments, talking heads and no actual footage of the story it tells, but that still packs a knock-out punch. – John Anderson, Variety, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: A film impossible to forget. – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

So Moving!

This film is so moving! The story had been told before, but not by the men who experienced it. The interviews are intimate and gut wrenching, and the recreations are so atmospheric. You almost feel like you've been through it all with them. Brilliant filmmaking that inspires you to think about some deep issues. Bravo!
