Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Underachieving even by the standards of stoner comedies, Strange Wilderness is so inert that it doesn't so much unreel on screen as loiter there, giggling at its own outrageousness. – Matt Zoller Seitz, New York Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Obviously the product of minimal effort by all parties involved, Strange Wilderness is a slovenly, slapped-together stoner comedy. – Joe Leydon, Variety, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Despite the presence of funny guys such as Zahn, Garlin, Justin Long and Jonah Hill, along with veteran character actors Ernest Borgnine, Joe Don Baker and Robert Patrick, the movie fails to be even passably funny. – Kevin Crust, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Laughter is definitely an endangered species where Strange Wilderness is concerned. – Michael Rechtshaffen, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

Blaze It

This movie is really stupid, but it might be one of the funniest movies ever. You have to watch it in a certain mind frame.

Comedic Genius

This movie is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. The episodes of Strange Wilderness that they film during the movie are hilarious and probably contain the stupidest comments one has ever heard but that is what makes this movie so funny.
