Plot Summary
Superstar and Academy Award-winner Clint Eastwood ("Million Dollar Baby", "Unforgiven"), breaks all his prior records as he reprises his classic role as "Dirty Harry" Callahan. This time, Harry tracks down a revenge-obsessed murderess (Sondra Locke) while local mobsters are gunning for him. The Hollywood Reporter calls Eastwood "a very good action director... he knows how to make the gut tighten and the skin crawl as the tension mounts." "A great audience picture" says Roger Ebert. "(It) has all the action anyone could want," says The New York Post. Dirty Harry will "make your day" in one of 1984's biggest box-office hits.

Rotten: By my count, more than a dozen people are murdered on camera, about half by Miss Locke and most of the others by Mr. Eastwood. This gives them something in common as lovers.
Fresh: This is the first entry in the series to have been directed by Eastwood himself, and action is put over with great force, if also with some obviousness.
Fresh: To all those cowboy movies we saw in our youth, all those TV Westerns and cop dramas and war movies, Dirty Harry has brought a great simplification: A big man, a big gun, a bad guy and instant justice.
Rotten: Eastwood the star needed a hit to bolster his flagging ratings; now that he's got it, maybe Harry will be put out to stud, with his Magnum.

This has to be one of Eastwood's best movie. Okay they are all good, but this one will make your day!!!!!!!!
