The One I Was Waiting For

Superman/Batman: Apocalypse is adapted from one of the earliest stories of the Superman/Batman comic, which re-introduces another well-known Kryptonian. The project is quite loyal to the source material, and the animators did an excellent job adapting the art style of the late Michael Turner. This is another great conversion of a wonderful DC work, such as it was with two other animated films, Justice League: The New Frontier and the re-telling of Wonder Woman's origin.

Watched the Movie yesterday

WOW!!! I gotta say that I was thrilled from Beginning until the end. I mean just when you think the good is gone. The good get's you again. The art work is incredible. The story line is great. Oh yeah, unbelievable, a good Superman story w/o Lois Lane. I loved every character. Finally Wonder Woman the way she was meant. They've been doing Batman right for a while now. They nailed Supergirl, Harbinger, Barta, and Artemis. But, finally, they are making Superman real. You could actually feel his temptation to kill Darkseid this time. There were personality flaws and he cared for his cousin like he'd care for a child. It was great. There there was all of the action anyone could ask for.

RIP

The art style of this movie is based on the artist of the graphic novel, Michael Turner... may he rest in peace :(
