Plot Summary
A box-office smash, an Academy Award winner* and a fan favorite since it first flew into theatres in December 1978, Superman: The Movie assembles a cast and creative contingent as only a big movie can. At its heart (just as in three sequels) is Christopher Reeve's intelligent, affectionate portrayal of a most human Man of Steel. Watching Superman again isn't just like being a kid again. Enjoy more footage of the Krypton Council, a glimpse of stars of prior Superman incarnations, more of Jor-El underscoring his son's purpose on Earth andan extended sequence inside Lex Luthor's gauntlet of doom. Reeve, Marlon Brando (Jor-El), Gene Hackman (Luthor) and Margot Kidder (Lois Lane) give indelible performances that fuel the film's aura of legend. Looks like a swell night for flying. Christopher Reeve is and always shall be SUPERMAN
If anyone could be Superman. It is Christopher Reeve, he fits the part perfectly as the shy yet great reporter Clark Kent, Kal-El last sone of Krypton, and Superman, Earths savior from the forces of evil. Superman is a world known icon and is permently set in stone as the best Superhero of all time. Though, the only Superman movies I enjoyed is the 1st two superman movies that had christopher reeve, it would be swell if itunes can put the richard donner cut of superman 2 because i know there must be thousands of people around the world who would want to see the movie it was suppose to be by donner. The richard lester one was great still. But i was not happy that they took out Marlon Brando Jor El from the movie and just showed the mother in the recaps and son to mother talks. And the kiss that alters and erase memories is not really a Superman power. Though the flag carrying superman to the white house was Patriotic but i would see the donner version instead because it has everyone that has an important part in the 1st one in the second movie.
Now we only now must wait for Bryan Singer to continue where he left with from Superman Returns... Cause we need Superman now more than ever.

This was the best version and probably the best out of all the Superman movies.
