Plot Summary
In this romantic comedy, New York fashion designer Melanie Carmichael (Reese Witherspoon) suddenly finds herself engaged to the city's most eligible bachelor. But Melanie's past holds many secrets, including Jake (Josh Lucas), the redneck husband she married in high school, who refuses to divorce her. Bound and determined to end their contentious relationship once and for all, Melanie sneaks back home to Alabama to confront her past, only to discover that you can take the girl out of the South, but you can never take the South out of the girl.

One of my Favorites
This is such a great movie. Not only is it well made, but well acted. Reece once again shows us that she deserves to be in the top ranks in the ActorDome. If you are a guy, this is a must see with your wife or girlfriend. If you are a girl, you've probably already seen it.

this movie is absolutely wonderful. i highly recommend you see it whether its through iTunes or from the movie rental place. Definately check it out, its great to watch when your feeling down.

I love this movie so much! It is one of my all time fav's Josh Lucas is a major hunk and Reese Witherspoon is so pretty.
