Rotten: Attached to this movie, the title no longer sounds zany; it looks like a series of keywords.
Rotten: In one way, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a triumph for producer Michael Bay in that it is equally as godawful as his Transformers: Age of Extinction and a hit nonetheless.
Rotten: There is something half-hearted about the entire film, as if those behind it were involved not because they wanted to make it, not because they should make it, but just because they could.
Rotten: I had to draw on my own ninja training and reflect intensively on the transitory nature of all phenomena, just to fend off the profound yearning for death.

COWABUNGA DUDE!!!
Don't listen to what the critics are saying. This is one movie all TMNT fans definitely do not want to miss! Buttkicking ninja action, comedy left and right, and an amazing cast to boot! Worthy of being the Ninja Turtles of our generation? It is indeed!
Meh...
I liked it... but I also didn't like it, it is just... average, it's how I felt about the 2007 CGI film TMNT, it felt a lot like that.
I didn't like the fact that everything focused on Fox... last time I checked this was supposed to be about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... not Megan Fox with Turtles.
But when the turtles did come on the screen, I didn't want them to leave, I could watch them for hours, like how I did and still do with the 90 films.
There are things that are different from the original comics which I could live with and there are somethings that I couldn't, that revolved around Fox's April. But for me it's a Meh movie, I will probably get this so I can fast forward to the turtles and just leave it like that. Just... Nick... please next time... make it a turtle film and not a film about April... please...
