Great Film!
Really just a great feel good movie. If you don't feel motivated and inspired after watching it then something is wrong with you. A must see!
Inspiring & Heartwarming
A beautiful portrait of a forgotten and decimated community clinging to the only thing that was left in post-Katrina New Orleans: themselves. A true story that reaffirms faith in the mythology of American resilience and brotherhood. Sometimes people pick themselves back up and lend a helping hand to others as they do, and this heartwarming story about hurricane survivors robbed of everything but their spirit is truly an inspiration.
Inspiring story of endurance
This film captures the essence of high school football in south Louisiana. It was great to watch the insight these boys had on their situation of being dislocated from their high school and having to move into a new city where they knew hardly anyone. The way they fit in was through this team, and in turn inspired the community with the recovery efforts. Coach Doe is a great character. He seems like a great coach and is caring and funny. Great film and I would recommend to anyone!
