Plot Summary
It’s Christmas Eve at Seoul’s ultra-luxurious, 108-story, residential high-rise, Tower Sky, and the annual White Christmas gala is planned once again to dazzle the elite tenants and their VIP guests. Building manager Dae-ho, a single father, reluctantly disappoints his young daughter again, cancelling plans to work the elegant event. Kitchen manager Yoon-hee, who has a secret crush on him, offers to babysit. Respected fire chief Young-ki has finally agreed to a date night with his long-suffering wife and the extravagant gathering is the perfect venue. The holiday revelry is in full swing on a truly magical and unforgettable evening when unthinkable disaster strikes. Out of the reach of help, chaos and panic erupt. Now two strangers, Dae-ho and Young-ki, must summon the strength and courage to save thousands … But at what cost?

Rotten: Kim Ji-hoon overdoses on visual fireworks in a way that smothers any human drama mustered by the sprawling cast, whose marquee names are treated as mere icing on the cake.
Rotten: "The Tower" may be skillfully executed as an effects-laden opus, but its miniature portraits in courage are ultimately too jerry-built to feel like anything but filler between the combustive set pieces.
Rotten: Even at its best, The Tower is beholden to unearned emotional payoffs.

Edge of your seat suspense!
This is a great movie! It was written well and you get swept away with the stories of survival. It is such an emotionally charged movie!
Amazing
I loved it, thought it had some really good jaw dropping moments. One of the best movies I've seen that has kept my attention through out the whole thing. I wish the ending had more details into the story.
Better than most movies
The Tower was amazing to watch. This movie is better than 90% of Hollywood movies today, and they did it at a fraction of the cost. The acting was excellent, and the visuals were striking.
