I Can

Normally I would not hate on a movie and write a review but I had to for this movie. I was never that impressed with Val Kilmer but I always remember him in the not so bad category... But I cannot imagine how he agreed to do this film. The writing is really poor. The story is bad. The characters, the acting and the dialog are so bad i just can't believe it. The worst part is the gratuitous gore - its done poorly and has the immature feel of slasher movies from the 70s. How do films like this get made? Last complaint, how in this universe of thousands of very good movies did this movie get an average of 3 stars? Does not even earn one star in my opinion.

Why did I rent this movie?

Who in the hell thought this was a good script? I'm forcing myself to finish the movie as I write this. It's my punishment for wasting my money. I normally would agree that writing reviews based off watching just the trailer is not very cool, but for this movie it is ok to do just that. In fact, I wish I would of watched the entire trailer. WTF was I thinking? IT'S BAD. VERY VERY BAD.

When will it end? HELP ME

I've actually watched the movie

Interesting - the 3 reviews at the top of the list are complaining about people not writing reviews and saying "don't write a review unless you've seen the movie"... um, didn't you just do that? Do you actually thinking someone is going to return and read your posting or even care?

Uh, emm, now, for the movie... it isn't the greatest and there is nothing of significance to mention, but it is the type of dark, hanging movie I like. If you like American Psycho (no one heard of Christian Bale when that came out so only one "name" in this shouldn't weight your decision) and The American style darkness, you'll enjoy this. It's not the movie of the year, but it's worth $4 if you want something different.
