Plot Summary
Earth seems to be fighting a losing battle when it is unexpectedly attacked by aliens! The fate of the world seems doomed until Kakashi is discovered. Tests prove the impossible - he can fight the aliens and save the Earth! There is one problem - Kakashi has lost his memory--and with it, the memories of how to fight the aliens! Things seem even worse when Kakashi moves in with his commander, and a strange triangle of emotions and relationships form that threaten the fate of the planet!

This Boy Displays Potential
This Boy Can Fight Aliens is an interesting and original OVA that follows the life of Kakashi, and amnesiac who is searching for clues to his past and his ability to fight the "aliens" that have come to earth. Although it leaves a lot of room for devlopment, it's a good glimpse at what director Soubi Yamamoto is capable of, and hopefully gets people interesting in her work.

What can I say, wicked movie.
Surprisingly good
The animation is rough and not the best of the many anime's i've seen, but the story is what makes it amazing. For only 5 or 6 dollars, it is definitely worth the buy.
