Plot Summary
Based on the British television series Thunderbirds, the main characters are portrayed by special marionettes. The group called International Rescue uses spaceships to on their mission to rescue the beautiful Lady Penelope from her evil and abusive kidnappers.

Good old imagination
Loved Thunderbirds as a kid. So much more imaginative then todays crop of CGI infested garbage. The miniatures are more enjoyable to watch than CGI and the work put into them is pretty amazing. Yeah, yeah, their puppets I know, but you almost forget it after awhile.
Thunderbird 6
This is an exceptional work of art from my childhood. Everything about Thunderbirds exhuded excitement, a sense of urgency, peril, and a desire to help our fellow man while beating the bad guys.
Now that I'm older I chuckle at some of the quirkiness such as the use of British voice actors using American accents, but to my mind this just adds to the charm of this amazing work.
There has been nothing like it since. I don't understand why the show didn't last longer than 2 seasons.
