Pretty Decent Indie Flick

This movie actually surprised me. The acting for the most part was pretty good. The writing and plot for this movie was also pretty good for an indie movie. Its nice to see dynamic and different gay characters in movies these days. This movie could have been excellent with a bigger budget though. But for the most part its a great movie to watch and gives a fresh look at gay cinema today.
Defiantly check the movie out if you enjoy LGBT films and want to watch something in that genre that is a little more dark and sinister which is lacking in LGBT films.

My Truth About Truth

I downloaded & watched last night. I gave this movie 4 stars because no movie is perfect and will never get 5 stars from me.
I really enjoyed this and I will be up front and say this is the first gay film I've watched. Rob did a great job directing. As I said before, no film is perfect so of course this movie had a few bumps.
There were a couple of lines that could have used more emotion and a few that seemed to not flow easily. But I did believe the chemistry between Sean and Rob's characters.
Sean played creepy very well at the end! Don't know if I liked that or not! ;)
My favorite scenes were actually between Caleb and the jail doctor. Sean made me feel sympathy for his character but also made me feel that he deserves to be in jail for what he did.
I wanted to punch the mom. It made me uncomfortable and sad to hear how she spoke to her son. I don't like to hear anyone called the "F" word. It really bothers me. But I can see why it had to be done in the film.
I'm happy to see Sean in a role like this and thank you to Rob for allowing him to play Caleb.

AWESOME!

Amazing movie-- thoughtfully written, beautifully presented and truly inspirational. It's exploration into mental illness coupled with the reality that such situations transpire on a daily basis bring new light to gay cinema. I have viewed the film, TRUTH, multiple times and I am equally as moved each time! Rob--you developed a TRULY incredible work of art for which you should be so proud! Both you, Sean and the rest of the cast brought to life a dream that you had--and the passion is so very evident from the second the movie starts! I LOVED IT-- I highly recommend it-- it will leave you on the edge of your seats, you will laugh, you will cry, you will feel the feelings of every character and you will leave the journey that TRUTH offers you with an entirely new attitude toward gay film. Real talent!
