Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Romanticizing an intimate relationship that leaves bruises and scars is a particularly terrible idea in a film aimed at girls. Talking about this is tiresome, but then so is putting it in the movie.
Rotten: What remains is the total conviction that the ludicrous scenes are dead serious and fiercely meaningful. The result is not quite a laugh a minute, but close.
Rotten: It all goes wrong just when it should go right.
Rotten: Here's hoping Breaking Dawn Part Two gives us more of what Part One provided in the final 30 minutes than what it forced viewers to endure to get there.

Greedy
I am a huge twilight fan. But, I seriously don't see the point of buying part 1 AGAIN!! They are just getting greedy now. Why buy this movie AGAIN, for a few extra minutes of footage. They should just put it online instead.
NOT worth it!
First of all, there are NOT "more than 8 minutes added" as is says in the description after you have already purchased it. If you look on the first Breaking Dawn they released, the run time is exactly 1 hr. and 58 mins. The run time on this new extended edition is 2 hr. and 5 mins. 5+2 does not equal 8. It equals seven! The new "eight" minutes Summit so proudly advertises is false. Besides the scenes add no real significance in the plot, and quite frankly are very poorly directed and acted out. No wonder they didn't make it into the final cut! If you buy this you're essentially paying for the scraps that fall on the floor, like McDonald's dollar menu. It's 20$ (if you buy the HD) version, for 2 maybe 3 poorly done scenes. It's not worth it! If you really want to see it that bad, extort one of your friends to waste their money on it, and watch it with them. Again, it's not worth the money you have to spend.
