As their worlds and hearts collide, Edward must battle the bloodlust raging inside him as well as a caterie of undead that would make Bella their prey. Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: A deeply sincere, outright goofy vampire romance for the hot-not-to-trot abstinence set. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Apr 8, 2011

Rotten: My hope is that the sequels are actual attempts at movies. The world doesn't need any more toothless cinema. – Laremy Legel, Film.com, Sep 19, 2011

Fresh: I watched Twilight in a cinema full of young girls who, when they weren't texting friends and guzzling soft drinks, giggled, sighed and exhaled with a passion that was not only endearing, but a measure of its emotional truth. – Sukhdev Sandhu, Daily Telegraph, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: A sometimes girlie swirl of obsession that will delight fans, this faithful adaptation is after teenage blood, and will most likely hit a box office artery. – Will Lawrence, Empire Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

One word: Dazzling. :]

Although the movie did not live up to the books (as movies rarely do,) I have to say, this movie is great. Just think about it: trying to fit a 500 page book into a movie in under 2 hours! With a little bit of humor, some intense action and a beautiful love story, there is no wonder why this movie is a huge success. Call me a "fangirl" or whatever, but Robert Pattinson (gorgeous!) was perfect for Edward, the movie was awesome and Twilight rocks!

Twilight!!!

The movie was really good!!! But i recommend you read the books first there so much better!!!

I Feel Like I'm Taking Crazy Pills!!!

I can't believe this story is so popular I painfully read, the first 2 books which were written to the level of a 9 year old. I stumbled with the third trying to finish it (because its my job) and about 40 pages into the fourth I just burned the book. Then I went to see this movie just to see if it played out as foolish on the big screen as it did in the novels. Well it was bad. just bad. The acting ( with the exception of Bella's Dad) was on par with a bad soap opera. I think The director was so Focused on trying to find people to fit the look of the players that she failed at the main thing that makes a film great - Acting. You should find a actor who takes on a roll to become the person they are playing, not find a great look alike ( yes he is pritty dang close to my image of Edward) who tries to act. The customer rating on this movie will be easy to see , hundreds of 10- 14 year girls who find Eddy cute and loved the book- so here comes 5 stars. or a few people who are able to see it for how poor it really is giving 1 to 2 stars, I really wanted to like this story and I know 5 young girls who hate me for what I say about it, but the funny thing is not one of them can say why they love it so much , they just do.
