Plot Summary

In a film that exposes the incompetence and corruption at the heart of the United Nations, filmmakers Ami Horowitz and Matthew Groff show how an organization created to ennoble mankind now actually enables evil and sows global chaos. U.N. ME takes us on a harrowing and darkly humorous tour of the U.N.'s scandalous disregard for the people and principles it was founded to defend. Balancing these stories against exclusive interviews with former U.N. ambassador John Bolton, former CIA Director James Woolsey, former U.N. weapons inspector Charles Duelfer, Nobel laureate Jody Williams, and others, U.N. Me delivers an unforgettable account of how the world's foremost humanitarian organization has become the clubhouse of dictators, thugs, and tyrants.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: A sassy documentary that suggests the United Nations is doing more harm than good. – Neil Genzlinger, New York Times, May 31, 2012

Rotten: These japes only do a disservice to the film's many serious allegations. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jun 5, 2012

Fresh: The result is far from evenhanded, but capable of raising important questions. – Mindy Farabee, Los Angeles Times, May 31, 2012

Rotten: Unfortunately, mocking jibes and cutaways to Team America and Wonder Woman (among other movies and TV shows) establish a jokey attitude that weakens the overall case. – Nick Schager, Village Voice, May 29, 2012

Can't spell unpopular without UN!

One of he most eye opening documentaries you will ever see about one of the most dysfunctional organizations in the world! A must watch for everyone on all sides of the political spectrum.

Top Critics?

It's hard for me to imagine that i watched the same show has the critics I thought the documentary was well done and extremely insightful i knew the UN was corrupt already but i had no idea they were responsible for all those deaths it's just sick I wish this was free so everyone could see it

U.N. Me are paying for this garbage from the U.N.!

Ami Horowitz risked his life to make this documentary. He asked the tough questions and got the answers we all need to hear. The U.N. is nothing more than an Israel and United States bashing machine and you can't defend IRAN being head of Human Rights!!! We pay Billions of $ to the U.N. annually and this is what we get for our money? I say close the U.N. in New York City, get them out of our country and don't give them another dime!
