Plot Summary
In the 1970s, a mysterious and deadly illness began infecting children in a small town in Connecticut. Today it's a global epidemic. A real-life thriller, this shocking festival hit exposes the controversy surrounding Lyme disease. Following the stories of patients and doctors fighting for their lives, director Andy Abrahams Wilson [or, the film] reveals with beauty and horror a natural world out of balance and a human nature all too willing to put profits before patients.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Scary enough to make the faint of heart decide never to venture into the woods or to lie on the grass again without protective covering.
Fresh: Producer-director-writer Andy Abrahams Wilson ("Bubbeh Lee and Me") takes a creative, humanistic approach that makes the complex material dramatic and visually interesting.
Fresh: Frightening, powerful stuff.
Rotten: Heartbreaking stories of patients suffering life-shattering illness make "Under Our Skin'' compelling. It would have been an even better movie if the filmmakers had been more diligent in following the money.

Wonderful
An absolute must see, shows a corrupt medical system and how these poor people suffer. Watch it.
Lyme Disease and it's truth.
This documentary had the honor of being on the Oscar short list last year. Mr. Wilson did a truly amazing job capturing what a day in the life of a Lyme Patient looks like. He has also taken a hard, real look into our medical system and the difficulty patients can face. This documentary sheds light on an illness that devastates many and will continue to devastate many more. This film will stay with you and at the very least -- you will know what to do when you or someone you love gets infected.
A MUST WATCH DOCUMENTARY
If you know anyone with Lyme Disease, or if you have it yourself, you must watch this documentary. I have Chronic Lyme Disease and I enjoyed watching this because it helped me to realize that I'm not alone in this battle. There are hundreds of thousands of people out there who are suffering. Loved ones of a Lyme sufferer will gain a better understanding of just how serious this disease is after watching this documentary. May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month.
