Plot Summary
UNFINISHED SONG is a funny and inspiring story about Arthur (Academy Award®-Nominee Terrence Stamp), a curmudgeonly old soul, who is perfectly content sticking with his dull daily routine until his beloved wife (Academy Award®-Winner Vanessa Redgrave) introduces him to a local seniors singing group. The group is led by the youthful and charming Elizabeth (Gemma Arterton of HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS) and her unexpected friendship with Arthur reignites his passion for new adventures and shows us all life should be celebrated at any age.

Fresh: It may be hokum, but it gets to you.
Fresh: The movie works mostly because of the artistry of its stellar cast and heartfelt script by writer-director Paul Andrew Williams.
Rotten: [It] doesn't earn its sentimentalism; instead it rolls through a series of cliched life lessons that never come close to exploring the film's emotional territory with any depth or commitment.
Fresh: Get out your handkerchiefs for an unabashed tearjerker that has some surprisingly potent moments. Buried in all the shameless sentiment is a touching family story, and good performances from veterans Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave.

NOT I REPEAT NOT A COMEDY!! Terms of Endearment for men!
This was a well acted and for the most part entertaining movie about a mature man coming to terms with love and loss. Although there were some giggles (see clips, and trailers) the whole of the movie was a drama not I repeat not a comedy.
Unexpected Brilliance!
This reminds me of my family! People who always find a way and that are Hard on the outside soft on the inside.
