So I'm the first one to love a good slasher film so I was more than excited to see a new one come out and I'm always looking for good horror films to watch. The first thing to mention is that this is lower budget indie, although the image quality was actually decent. Also these are not high dollar actors and I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were actual friends and/or friends with the director and producers. They did a good job of playing their roles although the acting was very rough in many parts, but hey it's indie..right! The storyline was simple, predictable yet fun and how deep is a slasher film anyway. The biggest thing that bothered me was the teenage banter that was written clearly by an adult and not a teenager.there were too many scenes where the dialog was forced as if trying to be "cool" and teenagerish but it just popped out to me as being corny and unrealistic and I'm sure the acting itself help make me feel this way. All in all it was entertaining and watchable but rent before rushing to buy this one. The ending was the climax of the bad acting and nearly killed it completely for me but I did enjoy it overall. They also left you with the feeling there may be a sequel down the road if they can get the money together. Honestly I hope they do. Give this one a shot if your lacking something to watch but don't go into it thinking it's a Friday the 13th level slasher.
