Plot Summary
Lorie Walker (MEGAN GOOD) is a small town girl whose big dreams of becoming a dancer come true when she becomes a star in the Hip-Hop video world. But she soon learns the hard way that life in front of the camera is not as glamorous as it seems.

perfect movie
no wonder this movie got such a bad rating on imdb! it is such an accurate portrayal of what Hollywood can be all about if you're not very careful. But the movie is more than just a cautionary tale. It tells us the story of Laury who falls into the trap because she does not listen to her inner voice telling her not to go there. She is pushed by her sister who wants great things for her but deep down she knows better. She does not use her free will but she lets herself be pushed by others; she lets others decide for her. I love Laury's character : so full of inner suffering and broken dreams and yet so loving and caring. Meagan Good is perfect in this part. I thing young people who are tempted by the glamourous lifestyle and the glitter should see this movie and through it realize that everything comes at a price. The way to go is to never be in the position of the one who is asking for something or else you will end up being used. Take care of yourself, physically and spiritually. Get an education. Pick your friends carefully and you will figure things out. This film proves that you don't need big bucks to produce great films: all you need is a solid story, and a team of actors and producers to get the message across.
I loved this movie and will definitely recommend it .
ps: I also wanted to say that even though the story is tough, the tone of the movie is not stifling at all. There is at all times a loving kindness that is given to us through Laury's heart who deep down is a good person which is why she will make it through.

This movie was greatly written and produced. Instead of exploiting the life of a video girl this movie educated you on the lifestyle. Meagan Good and the rest of the cast did an amazing job there are also a lot of celebrity Cameos. Great movie a must see
