Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: At least in a video game, you have some control over the plot. – Miriam Bale, New York Times, Oct 3, 2013

Fresh: This cheerfully silly action fantasy is unpretentious fun best suited to younger viewers. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Oct 3, 2013

Rotten: Once you look past the carnage, special effects and colossal locales, all you're left with is the supper show at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. – Martin Tsai, Los Angeles Times, Oct 3, 2013

Fresh: The first Hobbit picture's digital armies have a higher pixel rate, but Vikingdom packs in twice as much fun and thrice as much incident in much less running time. – Alan Scherstuhl, Village Voice, Oct 1, 2013

Double facepalm...

Wow, after 5 minutes into it i couldn't wait for it to be over. The only reason I watched it the whole way through was because I had a false hope it would get better. Sadly I was mistaken. The acting was horrendous, and the CG was worse than an 80's B movie. It's obvious this movie was made with a $50 budget. Don't waste your money renting it and definitely don't buy it. If you really want to watch it, wait until it's on netflix or redbox.

Good enough

It's not upper tier in refined movie production or acting. But it has enough decent actors, a steady enough story and action to carry it. Higher than a B+ film at least.

cool action solid fun

The movie is different take on legend I reviewed it for Dan's Movie Report. Thor is literally a madman dansmoviereport (com) search Vikingdom Movie Review thanks itunes you rock!
