Plot Summary

Welcome to the deadliest game you'll ever play. Colm Feore (Paycheck) and Matt Lanter (Heroes) wage war against state-of-the-art defense technology in this riveting, pulse-pounding sequel to the thrilling WarGames. When Will Farmer (Lanter) hacks into a restricted network of online gaming known only as R.I.P.L.E.Y., he stumbles onto a national defense system designed to ferret out fledgling terrorist cells and becomes Ripley's next target. His identity compromised, his family and friends jeopardized and his hometown in the cross hairs of an automated military response, Will's only hope to clear his name lies in beating Ripley at her own game. But when the game escalates to the next level, it becomes a race against time to stop Ripley from unleashing Armageddon.

Customer Reviews

Good, but not convincing.

This movie was solid, had a good story line, and was a great sequel to it's predecessor. However, some of the movie was complete BS, and I understand that it is just hollywood, but I mean, comon. I think this movie is a good choice for anyone who is looking for a cheap thrill. The special effects in the movie were very good, and it's acting was great. However, if you view movies under a microscope (as I do) I would choose one with a little more realistic qualities. For example, a plane is coming towards Washington D.C.... which is the worlds most protected city from threats. Everyone is freaking out because of this plane, instead of just shooting the damn thing down. All I'm saying, is that this movie is aggrivating, because I guess in the world the movie takes place in, there is no such thing as common sense. Enjoy the flick.

Bad, Bad, Bad

This is a really bad movie. A poor and predictable plot, full of inconsistencies, and badly acted. It is *nothing* like the first movie. The connections to the first movie are silly and contrived. The ending, which is totally predictable, is made even worse as it is ridiculously corny. This is not even worth renting.

A Good Movie

It's a well written movie and I enjoyed it after a long day of work. There were some references to the 1980's movie that I thought was funny. I'll watch this again.
