Plot Summary
Five graduating high school seniors with no prospects decide to make an outrageous comedy movie, with the hope of getting famous and escaping their depressing town. Their leader and director, LeBron, is so confident the movie will be a big hit, he gets some geeky freshmen to follow him around with video cameras to record the "making of." But, by accident, the cameras begin to capture glimpses of LeBron and his friends' actual lives, which are full of drama, and much more compelling than the silly movie they set out to make.

This is good movie
It has some good casting with more than a few funny moments. Arthur Meyer stands out for me as a particularly good part of the movie. He has a genuineness that is very appealing. He also acted without shame which is always better for performance. Don't expect explosions or over the top "Hangover" style comedy. The movie is intended to look like a bunch of kids filmed it with basic equipment.....and it does. The shopping cart run was frightening.
It has some touching moments and some very funny characters with extremely good writing. You will probably see some of these actors develop major careers in the next few years. I would recommend watching this movie if you appreciate good writing/dialogue.
Really good movie
Really enjoyed the movie. Builds into a story about characters you can identify with. Adds some twists that are unexpected so you really want to see how it all turns out. Lots of funny scenes that will make you actually laugh. Filmmakers took great pains to stay true to the underlying story in how they film, frame and edit.
Unexpectedly sweet
I knew nothing about this movie going in and rented it on a whim and it ended up being one of my favorite films of this year. Very funny and at times raunchy, but it's still grounded in the reality of being a teenager in a small town. The performances are excellent across the board and the screenplay is extremely solid.
I don't have a bad thing to say about this movie. If you're a fan of raunchy, sweet movies, definitely check this out.
