Plot Summary
Adam Bhala Lough wrote and directed this tale of suburban mayhem that made its world premiere at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. It's the end of another work week in a typical, working class American suburb, and everyone is looking to cut loose before getting back into the daily grind come Monday. When a series of vicious and apparently random youth-related killings shake this quiet community to its very core over the course of three unforgettable days, however, an investigation soon leads the populace to find that there may be a connecting string that ties all of these brutal homicides together.

Expect Better Things To Come
I've been waiting to see this film since a I saw an interview with Lough on the Sundance Channel about two and a half years ago. Its a gritty and raw film that catches the carelessness of America's youth. People might think that its a lot like Kids, but its not. One might think the movie drags on a bit too much, but I felt the way it was filmed along with the musical accompaniment of DJ Screw was perfect. Its not as polished or tight as Bomb the System, but its obvious that wasn't what Lough was going for. The opening scene with Nick Cannon is probably the most shocking(and most disturbing) and memorable scenes is recent years. You can only expect bigger and better things from Lough. Good film, even greater effort.
