Plot Summary
After meeting one lonely Friday night at a bar, Russell (Tom Cullen) and Glen (Chris New) find themselves caught up in an lost weekend full of sex, drugs, and startling emotional connection. In the fast-fleeting couple of days, the reservations of earnest Russell come head to head with Glen's more strident sexual identity, and the romantic outlooks of both men are affected deeply. When Monday comes, despite the unexpected intimacy they've established, can the pair survive the mundane challenge of separation?

Words can't describe...
I can't thank the people who made this movie possible especially the director, Andrew Haigh. Words can't begin to describe how good this movie is. The theme is universal. Gay or straight - doesn't matter. If you've ever felt a raw, emotional connection to another person, you can relate. Hands down, the best relationship drama ever created.
I don't think I can write a review to do Weekend its proper justice.
Beyond the visual treat, this movie isn't just some trite depiction of a gay couple, gay sex, gay chance, gay whatever, it's a gorgeous and simple representation of spontaneity, self confidence, and the views of a minority in a judgmental setting. While studying experiences of their pasts, the main characters grow together in the short time that they're allotted before separation; these arguments prompt the audience, gay or straight, to question the importance of differences between themselves and others. These differences should be celebrated, not condemned, and I commend the entire cast and crew for the amazing job they've done.

Great depiction
Weekend is a true to life depiction of what it's like to be single and searching for love. Arguing for the case of whether to date online or take someone home from the bar. The acting is really great and the characters are very well developed. This movie will make you laugh, cry, and hope. It's not your typical, forgettable gay drama! Have Kleenex in hand!
