Plot Summary
Sixteen-year-old Poppy (Emma Roberts) is an LA teen diva who does what she wants, whenever she wants. But after an over-the-top prank pushes her father one step too far, she finds herself shipped off to the one place where everything will change: a British boarding school. No cell phones, no designer clothes…no way. Desperate to break free, she sets in motion the ultimate escape plan involving the head mistress' son – only to discover that this could be the reason she wants to stay. Co-starring Natasha Richardson, Aidan Quinn and Nick Frost, it's the fun and fabulous comedy that's LOL!

Fresh: Competent if mechanical helming debut by editor Nick Moore.
Fresh: What begins as tedious teen comedy/drama about a Californian brat turns out to be a surprisingly agreeable popcorn flick.
Rotten: The screenplay by Lucy Dahl (daughter of Roald) dwells unpleasantly on cruelty and humiliation, and finally Poppy does little more than exchange one form of snobbery for another.
Rotten: On balance, gouging one's eyeballs with a chopstick would be more fun than watching this crummy tween comedy about a Californian princess.

This movie is amazing. Everything about it perfect and it's so funny i love emma roberts and i'm glad that this movie is finally going to be on itunes thanks itunes :) oh and everyone get the movie you'll love it.

Definitely worth watching!!
Emma Roberts is incredible in this movie! It is full suspense, romance, comedy.....Don't be discouraged by her hair color in the beginning! It gets really good.
