Plot Summary
Wild in the Country is the final screenplay written by legendary playwright Clifford Odets, and features a moving, heartfelt performance by Elvis Presley. The film also contains the Presley songs "Wild in the Country" and "I Slipped, I Stumbled, I Fell." Possibly the sexiest of all of The King's movies, Elvis plays a backwoods delinquent blessed with great literary talents with Millie Perkins as his childhood sweetheart.
Customer Reviews
Great film
Elvis is so good in this film. I don't understand why he has never gotten the recognition he deserves. When you watch an Elvis' film you forget that it's Elvis and believe he's the character he's playing. His facial expressions and body language are just so right on. He was a talented actor!!!!
