Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: [McCarthy's] writing reflects a wariness of human nature but he's not cynical; indeed, the story wraps up with a tenderness that feels true but completely without mush. – Mary F. Pols, TIME Magazine, Apr 7, 2011

Fresh: The rare, humanist beauty of Win Win is that none of its characters is a caricature, none of its plot twists a blatant play for tears or laughs, none of its appeal based on some mythical lowest common denominator. – Ann Hornaday, Washington Post, Aug 9, 2011

Fresh: Giamatti excels as the weak-kneed Mike, nicely working his gift for inner conflict and outer bumbling. As his wife, Amy Ryan is a ballast of unflinching moral certitude. – Amy Biancolli, Houston Chronicle, Apr 7, 2011

Fresh: Win Win is a winner all the way. – Tom Long, Detroit News, Apr 1, 2011

Amazing

This movie was deep and moving. I loved it!

Win Win is a win win movie

One of the best movies I've seen this year. Paul G is great, he captures emotions so well.. It's hard to tell he's acting. A simple story that will make you smile, chuckle, possibly shed a tear, but mainly it just leaves you feeling warm and happy about yourself when you've finished watching.

Outstanding Movie

It's a shame it was not put into a wider release in the theaters. In my opinion it is much better than Sideways, and slightly better than Juno. The Rotten Tomatoes score does not lie.
