Plot Summary
Mickey Rourke ("The Wrestler," "Diner") portrays a racist Vietnam vet-turned cop who is out to stop a Chinese youth gang, headed by ruthless Golden Globe-nominee John Lone ("The Last Emperor," "M. Butterfly") in New York's gritty Chinatown. From Oscar-winner director Michael Cimino ("The Deer Hunter") with a screenplay co-written by Oscar-winner Oliver Stone ("Any Given Sunday," "JFK," "Platoon"). Nominated for two Golden Globes, including Best Supporting Actor (Lone).

Finally -Thank You iTunes Movies
If you thought that "True Romance" with Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken was a true Cult Classic, then also consider that "Year of The Dragon" should be a part of your saved movie Library. This is perhaps the best role that Mickey Rourke ever portrated. IMHO, The Movie is PURE CLASSIC and a must see.
Underated
This is a very underrated movie. One of Mickey Rourkes best!
