A Cinematic experience so AWESOMELY bad, it is well worth seeing.
Yor is the chosen one, gleefully making his way through the World of the Future, making and losing friends, just as quickly. Yor is on an epic quest to find out where he comes from. His only clue, a gold medallion, whose origin is a mystery. While making his way to the truth, destruction and death will follow closely... but what horrible truth will Yor find?
Originally a three hour made-for-tv Itallian mini-series, Yor was re-edited into an american classic. Anyone watching will wonder how this movie was not picked up by MST 3k. This movie will make you happy as you watch Yor swing swords and axes VERY slowly, fight robots AND dinosaurs! In the end, this is an important lesson as to why we must not become too technologically dependant. ALSO the majority of the characters spend the movie minimally dressed, and the entire movie you end up wondering whether his hair is real....
When I saw this movie was available on iTunes i downloaded it immediately, this movie has to be seen to be believed.
Unstoppably Awesome
Everything about this movie rules. Come for the dinosaur fights, stay for the laser robots.
Really iTunes?
Wow, lots of other movies they could have but they have Yor? As a schlocky early 80's B grade sci-fi movie it's sort of ok (certainly fits the genre and time period). If you could rent it, I'd say go for it. But buy it at $14.99?? It cost less for a family of four to see this movie in theaters when it came out. I should know, my family went to go see it. The worst part? Standing. Room. Only. Go figure.
