Plot Summary
Angel of mercy...or Doctor Death? In the 1990s, Dr. Jack Kevorkian became one of the most polarizing figures in modern American history, a man whose quest to end the lives of people in pain brought him both praise and vilification. Oscar(R)-winning actor Al Pacino ('Scent of a Woman') brings Dr. Death to life in 'You Don't Know Jack,' a Barry Levinson film that follows Kevorkian through his first assisted suicide in 1990, the national media frenzy that followed and the decade-long war of wills between Kevorkian and state prosecutors who were as committed to stopping him as he was in continuing his practice. Susan Sarandon, Danny Huston, Brenda Vaccaro and John Goodman co-star. Directed by Barry Levinson; written by Adam Mazer.

Provoking
A very thought provoking Drama. Alfred Pacino is indeed the best actor of our time. I can not seems to find any character replacing him in this lifetime.
Well done...
Pacino is almost a perfect method actor copying Kevorkian to a T. Better than Daniel Day Lewis by far. This covers not only his life, his important work, and shows we as humans have the right to truly be free, and choose our own life or death when necessary.
