Plot Summary
Zenith is a retro-futuristic steam-punk thriller, about two men in two time periods, whose search for the same grand conspiracy leads them to question their own humanity. Starting from a fictional recreation of Stanley Milgram's Obedience to Authority experiment, Zenith plunges into exploring multifaceted dimensions of the human experience. The film follows two parallel stories – of father and son – now, and 40 years into the future. Searching for the same elusive conspiracy, both father and son find no answers; instead, their journeys unravel their lives and force them to look deep and hard at themselves and their surroundings. In the end, they are both confronted with the same Faustian bargain – but each one chooses a very different path.

Rotten: This bewildering collision of noir narration and purple paranoia may be long on atmosphere but is woefully short on sense.
Fresh: Smoothly incorporating influences as diverse as Philip K. Dick and Terry Gilliam, Zenith commands attention and builds suspense by taking inventive detours through familiar territory.
Fresh: To say the least, "Zenith" is challenging and elusive; it evokes a bleak view of the human condition and a sense that pervasive paranoia might well be justified.
Rotten: Simply watching the movie makes you feel practically lazy.

Awesome movie - like the Da Vinci Code meets Blade Runner - a mind-blowing and bewilderingly exciting film set in the future and the present.
More cyberpunk than steampunk.
Great stuff, though as the critics indicate, you either love it or hate it. Roll the dice!

Heady, Intriguing,Thick, Surreal, Maniacally Erotic... Commando Style Sci-Fi. Keeps you involved with real off beat performances... nice to see Jason Robards III's work bringing back memories of his Father...he needs to be in more films...

Not A Must See
There is no steam punk in this film. It's a very poor movie.
