Plot Summary
As evening falls over a small California town, the dead rise from their graves, mausoleums and morgues. Now it's up to the townspeople to fight to survive. But when rumors spread that the zombies fall at dawn, trust amongst neighbors breaks down. As one family endures waves of the undead, they must persevere through the darkness, never truly knowing if sunrise will put an end to the horrors they've witnessed in the dead of night.

Same as the TV version
I saw the unrated label under rating and rented it for comparison. This version is no different than what aired on Syfy, Halloween night (2013). The story would be fine if the acting was better. Some decent gory bits. Had potential to get really crazy but never went there. I Expected more from Asylum.
Don’t Waste Your Time.
With Anthony Michael Hall and Daryl Hannah starring, there was hope for the storyline and the acting. Wrong. Overacting, predictable storyline, and the characters made every stupid decision that caused more frustration than any scare.
