Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Neither grand enough to be impressive nor antic enough to be charming, the movie settles for bland and frantic, climaxing in a showdown among decadent pyramid builders. – Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The best acting comes from woolly mammoths, man-eating ostriches and a saber-toothed tiger -- and those babies are digital. It's the human actors who look fake. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Even a cameo by Pauly Shore in Encino Man would liven up this bombastic bore. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: 10,000 BC would be much better if it allowed itself the freedom to be kitsch. – Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com, Jun 24, 2010

Completely Disapointing

This movie was the biggest let down I have had in some time. This movie is completely fake to the time period with large birds and prey animals that died out around 30,000 BC. The acting is flat and no development and the ending is predictable. This movie steals scenes from every major blockbuster and combinds them into a terrible pile. Save your movie rent if you have to. The only decent scene is the end. Serious let down

Amazing!!

This movie is great! I went to see it in theatres and I will definitely be buying it. The computer graphics are amazingly real looking and the locations for the scenes are breathtaking. Not to mention the story is one that many can relate to on some level. And, as far as acting, Steven Strait did a phenomenal job portraying such a diverse character with so many different facets to him. This movie is definitely a must see!!!
