Plot Summary
When a Mexican revolutionary, Yaqui Joe, absconds with 6,000 dollars to help further his country's revolution, an Arizona lawman is sent into Mexico to track him down. The three dodge the law and the military with the help of a local Mexican woman, Sarita. Led by an ambitious military leader, they find themselves chased through the mesas of Mexico and are captured. Their salvation comes in the form of Yaqui Joe's band of Mexican revolutionaries, who free the three and help overturn the despotic military government in their state.

Good movie
An earlier movie for Burt Reynolds. Interesting with good action and plot. Some won't like that Jim Brown puts it on her though! Quite brave of her during the time....
Great Western Flick
A great solid western flick. I'm not much of a western fan, but I throughly enjoyed this movie-pure entertainment. The characters are as noble but tough as it gets, and the cause they fight for is fair. Very action packed for a movie from 69' you'd be surprised. I say give it a shot.
Let's really critique
Unlike the last reviewer here's what I thought:
It was a very good script and plot and even though it came out in 1969, please, let's leave the subtle racism out of it.
Raquel Welch and Jim Brown had wonderful chemistry in this movie and if you can't get over it in 2011 then I guess you never will.
Burt Reynolds was sly as a fox as always back in his heyday and this movie illustrates that and the the action was as packed as it could be back in those days.
