Plot Summary
What would you do if you got a second shot at life? Class of 1989, Mike O'Donnell (Zac Efron) is a star on the high school basketball court with a college scout in the stands and a bright future in his grasp. But instead, he decides to throw it all away to share his life with his girlfriend Scarlet and the baby he just learned they are expecting. Almost 20 years later, Mike's (Matthew Perry) glory days are behind him. His marriage to Scarlet (Leslie Mann) has fallen apart, he has been passed over for a promotion at work, his teenage kids think he is a loser, and he has been reduced to crashing with his high school nerd-turned-techno-billionaire best friend Ned (Thomas Lennon). But Mike is given another chance when he is miraculously transformed back to the age of 17. Unfortunately, Mike may look 17 again, but his thirtysomething outlook is totally uncool among the class of 2009. And in trying to recapture his best years, Mike could lose the best things that ever happened to him.

Top Critics' Reviews
Rotten: Keeps people and things moving fast enough so that you don't have time to worry about the details, like the inanity of the story.
Fresh: Despite occasional misfires, this Zac Efron comedy earns its laughs and delivers its life lessons.
Fresh: 17 Again takes a while to get cooking, and at times it just feels like a pale imitation of 13 Going on 30. Still, it's often breezily entertaining, partly thanks to Efron, who certainly knows how to be cute.
Rotten: Zac Efron, looking cool, is movie enough for the makers of 17 Again, a halfhearted fantasy that stars Efron in a role cryogenically frozen around the time of C. Thomas Howell's '80s heyday.

Brilliant!
Before 17 Again, I believed Zac Efron was this washed-up, Disney sell-out kid with no talent. After I saw this, I realized I was mistaken. He shows so much emotion and is hilarious. The movie was excelent in my opinion. The supporting cast was excellent, and believable. I loved it.
Much Better Than I Expected
So I used to think that Zac Efron was a stupid, no talent, sell out, disney actor. I was wrong. He is so very talented and intelligent. I refused to see this movie at first because I hated Zac Efron and Disney and High School Musical and all that crap, but after actually watching this film and doing some research on Efron I realized I was wrong. He is an actually intelligent man who doesn't go out and party too much. He is a great actor, has great beliefs and is great in this movie. If you are not watching this film because you hate High School Musical and Disney and Zac Efron, rent it, give it a chance, I used to see him like you, but now, because of mainly this film, I see him in a whole new, better light. Give it a chance. =]
Zac Efron + Sterling Knight = Perfection :)
Two of my favorite celebrities ever, Zac and Sterling, are in this movie... which makes it 100 times better! The actual movie itself though has a great plot line and its very funny. I saw it in theaters and loved it! I'll definitely be buying it when it is up for purchase :)
