Customer Reviews

Courageous journey.

T-Mac, the superman of the NBA and Nike fame, appreciates that fact that he is a mere mortal, fearful and out of place in the devastated and frightening world of Darfur refugee camps. Watching him confront the awful truth is difficult. What can one say when one learns that a child's entire family was thrown live into a fire to die. "Damn," McGrady says. There is nothing that can be said that could ever meet the horror of Darfur. Only action is meaningful and that is the route McGrady choses to take.

The film is nicely shot. No one lectures you. There is no sensationalism. There are just real people describing in the most astoundingly quiet manner what they have suffered. It deserves to be watched. McGrady deserves our respect for his humble wish to be of help.

3 points with a purpose

I really liked the movie, but it was too short! Hopefully, there will be some serious action taken and hopefully, there will be a follow up to this story.
