Plot Summary
Based on the E. Nesbit novel, this magical story set in England at the turn of the century, finds nine-year-old Robert (Freddie Highmore, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory") and his four siblings sent to live in a rattling old mansion in the country with their eccentric Uncle Albert (Kenneth Branagh, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets"), and other colorful characters. When the children are told never to go in the greenhouse - of course they do so instantly! There they discover a maze, leading them to a beach where they meet "It" a quirky sand fairy who can grant wishes (voiced by Eddie Izzard), a power the children call upon immediately!

Rotten: Five posh First World War sprogs are despatched to Uncle Kenneth Branagh's Gothic pile in a Devon nook. It's a ghastly film

My 6 year old granddaughter truly loved this movie and I loved watching it with her.
It's not that great.
It's not very funny, but when the kids get to see their dad again it's kinda sweet. Did anyone notice how the oldest kis always wears white pants? Hahahahahahahhahahaha idk why I found that so funny
