Plot Summary

Starting in 1964 with Seven Up, The UP Series has explored this Jesuit maxim. The original concept was to interview 14 children from diverse backgrounds from all over England, asking them about their lives and their dreams for the future. Every seven years, renowned director Michael Apted, a researcher for Seven Up, has been back to talk to them, examining the progression of their lives. From cab driver Tony to schoolmates Jackie, Lynn and Susan and the heart-breaking Neil, as they turn 56 more life-changing decisions and surprising developments are revealed.

Another installment of a great series

A documentary series like no other. I've grown right along with these people having started the series at 28 up when I was 15. It's like catching up with old friends. Plus I always want to find out how Neil is doing, his story was always the most compelling.

This is the greatest documentary ever made

as good as this film is -- do yourself a favor and go back and watch all of the "episodes" going back to 7-UP. Their story is all of our stories. I will always be grateful that these people have allowed us to grow and age with them. Watching every episode has impacted on my own life.

It never gets old

I'm a fan of this documentary series so I saw this in the theater in NYC. It's highly engaging as all the others are. Can't wait for the next one!
